It had to be - Blue Oyster Cult

This concert was in Vancouver, a small venue arena, maybe 2,500 people, It seemed like 500. Wild lights and smoke, amps cranked well beyond legal limits. Not much fun, except 3 of us arrived, two left, I left one behind. I still laugh about that one. I figure we waited for 45 minutes at my car. Turned out the other guy wondered around in the cold and dark, no one would give him a ride. Not sure, sounded like he said he walked home, that would be somewhere around 40 miles. Guess that's why, this otherwise complete waste of time, is remembered.
Although, my ears rang for at least 5 or 6 days, makes me wonder if that was the beginning of "early onset - adult level" hearing issues. Perhaps it's why listening to music is so important to me now, and why I like 70s Arena Bands and Prog Bands. As far as concerts go, this was the worst for me, Trooper at the Surrey roller rink was better.
